Nigeria records 158 cases of COVID-19 in 10 States, FCT

Nigeria on Monday recorded 158 cases of COVID-19 in 10 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known on Tuesday.

This, the centre said, brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 253,181.

The centre also reported one COVID-19-related death.

The agency said that 296 people who were infected have recovered and have been discharged.

The NCDC said of the new cases, Anambra reported 82 cases while Lagos reported 35 cases.

Others are Cross River-seven, Kwara-six, FCT-five, Gombe-three, Kaduna-three, Bayelsa-two, Kano-one and Nasarawa-one.

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre, activated at Level II, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
