The Director General, Save Kaduna Group, Mr. Istifanus Audu Nimbia said it was obvious the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), handled the nation’s economy better than the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He also declared support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Governorship candidate Isah Ashiru Kudan and the Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

In a statement by Director, Corporate Communications of the Group Hon. Victor Matthew Bobai, said the DG made the declaration after meeting with the 23 coordinators of the group in Kaduna.

He said there was no need to fly another political agenda outside sticking with PDP for the efforts the party has put in place to rescue Kaduna from the worst security and economic situation of the present administration.

According to the statement, “Seven years in power, there is no single original idea of note that has emanated from the APC apart from consistent lies ,excuses, deceit and poor management of the security architecture of our communities.

“Our international reputation is winding down; Bill Gates hailed Nigeria’s fight against polio under Jonathan and the PDP as one of the great world achievements of 2014. However, the same Bill Gates identifies Nigeria under Buhari and the APC as one of the most dangerous places in the world to give birth, with the fourth worst maternal mortality rate in the world. He also identified the government’s economic policy as dismally ineffectual.

“Indeed, everything under this APC government has gone from bad to worse, the economy is worse, the cost of living is worse, the security situation is worse, the naira is worse, and the unity of Nigerians is worse.

“The corruption index is worse, the electricity situation is worse, the ministers in the presidential cabinet are worse, the liberty of Nigerians is worse, the rule of law is worse, the political climate is toxic and the Nigerian economy is worse”.

Mr Nimbia also accused Staff of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of denying eligible voters registration in some parts of Kaduna.

He therefore called for an extension of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise to Oct 30, 2022.

He said, “There has been evidences that INEC officials in some parts of Kaduna are not keen on the enrollment of eligible voters. The INEC should extend the exercise till October 30, 2022 to accommodate eligible voters.”

He concluded that Nigerians now understand what APC’s “change mantra,” actually entails.
