Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti-Baba Ahmed on Monday paid a courtesy visit to controversial Nigerian cleric, Sheik Ahmad Gumi.
Obi made this known after sharing pictures from the visit via his verified Twitter page.
“Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed and I stopped by for a courtesy call on Sheikh Gumi at his official residence in Kaduna.” -he tweeted.
Reacting to Obi’s tweet, some Twitter users applauded the move while several others knocked him and his running mate.
