NNL Chairman Aluo felicitates Muslim faithful on Eid-el-Maulud

Chairman, Nigeria National League (NNL), Mr. George Aluo has congratulated Muslims in the country as they join the rest of the world today to mark Eid-el- Maulud, calling on all Nigerians regardless of religion to draw lessons from the values associated with the life of Holy Prophet Mohammed.
In his congratulatory message, Aluo noted that as they celebrate the birth of Prophet Mohammed today, they should see it as a time of sober reflection and pray for the Peace and security of the country.
” I want to say congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el- Maulud. As they celebrate, I enjoin them to use the period as a day of reflection and prayer for the peace of our dear country, Nigeria .
He also urged Nigerians irrespective of religion, tribe or culture to use the period to pray for peace and national cohesion, describing unity as a shared responsibility that belongs to every citizen.
He urged the public to mark the celebration with restraint and respect for one another.
