NPFL: Igali calls for support as Bayelsa Utd host Kano Pillars

In a bid to galvanise support for Bayelsa United, the commissioner for Sports Development, Daniel Igali, has called on Bayelsans to come out enmasse to cheer the team in their match-day-2 NPFL fixture against Kano Pillars in Yenagoa.

Igali in a statement personally signed on Sunday, September 15, 2024, noted that Bayelsa United need all the support they can get in ensuring victory, particularly from the Bayelsa people.

Bayelsa Utd, currently occupy 19th position on the NPFL log with 0 point, after losing first game to Sunshine Stars need all three points against Kano Pillars at the Samson Siasia Stadium to bounce back to winning ways.

According to Igali it would be a massive advantage for the Prosperity Boys should Bayelsans come out in their numbers to support the team.

Similarly, Igali also charged the Prosperity Boys to put in optimal performance against Pillars that will serve as a sign of good fortune for the team.
