The Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) on Thursday said it arrested a man for alleged defilement of his three daughters.
Also, the NSCDC had arrested one Solomon Isaac, aged 28 years, of Ejule town Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State for allegedly being a member of a secret cult in Anambra state.
Solomon Isaac resides at Road 2 Abuja Estate Awka the state capital.
However, the suspect, Mr. Igbo Thomas, an indigene of Okolo Ani village in Igbo Etiti local government area of Enugu state was nabbed by a team of the NSCDC operatives at about 4 pm on the 24th of this month in the state.
His arrest followed a complaint lodged to the command by a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Child Protection Network (CPN), that a man had been having unlawful canal knowledge of his biological daughters aged eight years, three years, and a year and six months respectively.
Following the complaint, the State Commandant of NSCDC Anambra State led by Commandant David Bille, had the same day constituted a team from the intelligence and investigation department of the command which swooped on the randy father.
The suspect lives at Enuoji Village in Enugwu Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC Okadigbo Edwin said “The team immediately swung into action through intelligence-led operation and at about 16:00hrs same day arrested one Mr. Igbo Thomas ‘m’ of Okolo Ani Village in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The man had confessed to the crime and insisted that he did the abominable acts under the influence of alcohol
According to Mr. Okadigbo “Upon interrogation, the suspect initially denied but when he was confronted by his daughters, he became dumbfounded and confessed to having committed the crime but under the influence of alcohol.”
However, the teenager and others were quickly taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Meanwhile, the State Commandant has ordered for discrete investigation into the matter after which the suspect would be charged to court.
Okadigbo explained that on May 24th this year at about 1935hrs, a suspected cultist Solomon Isaac ‘m’ aged 28, of Ejule town Ofu LGA of Kogi State but residing at Road 2 Abuja Estate Awka was arrested when he jumped into the office premises of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Anambra State Command.”
He said, “Upon interrogation, he confessed to being chased by some cultists who was trailing him before he jumped into the premises of NSCDC.”
The command added that investigation into the case was ongoing and upon conclusion, the suspect would also be charged to court.
