Nobody can expel me from PDP – FCT Minister, Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has said that nobody can expel him from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Wike said this during an interview with Seun Okinbaloye of Channels TV on Wednesday, August 30.

He stated that he should be the one to call for disciplinary action against those that violated the constitution of the party as they had agreed on the rotation of power.

“How can anybody think of expelling me? I have not seen that person, with all due respect. It cannot happen,” he said.

The Minister also clarified a report that claimed that he said the current administration asked PDP governors to noninate someone for a Ministerial appointment.

He stated that the President Bola Tinubu administration had written to all the 36 state governors to nominate persons for appointments.

“I challenge any PDP governor to deny that they did not nominate persons for appointment in thiss current administration. I have evidence.

“I wrote a letter to the PDP chairman, my zonal chairman, the governor of my state informing them of my appointment from President Tinubu. They all told me to accept it that it was a call to duty. So who wants to discipline me? They dare not. They are all regretting their actions that led to this point,” Wike said.
