The Deputy Governor of Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo, Mr Agboola Ajayi, will likely resign as a member of the party this week according to strong evidence.
Just two months ago, Mr Ajayi resigned his membership from All Progressives Congress, APC, and moved to PDP. He is said to be exiting the party after losing his present party’s primary election to another candidate, Mr Eyitayo Jegede.
From a reliable source, it was discovered that the Deputy Governor has almost concluded his plans to defect to another party called Zenith Labour Party, ZLP.
He was mentioned to have been chosen as the standard carrier of ZLP in the approaching governorship elections in Ondo state.
It was evident as it was mentioned on Monday through a reliable source that he would first resign and leave PDP before he formally and finally joins Zenith Labour Party.
