EDO DECIDES: (DEVELOPING) PDP’s Obaseki widening lead

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced announcement of the Edo governorship election results from the local government areas and Governor Godwin Obaseki is widening lead and coasting to victory with a wide margin.

It is a two-horse race between Obaseki and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress,  Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

In the results officially declared so far by INEC from 13 Local Governments, Governor Obaseki is in a very comfortable lead. The PDP has 240,935 and APC has 154, 192 so far. Obaseki leads Ize-Iyamu by a margin of over 80,000 votes.
