Ondo Polls: APc set to win, scores 13 of 16 councils

Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, has won 13 out of 16 local government councils declared so far by INEC.

Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, has won three council areas.

However, Zenith Labour Party candidate, incumbent deputy governor, Hon Agboola Ajayi has not won in any of the local councils.

The results from Ese- Odo and Ilaje council areas are yet to be announced.

Chief Returning Officer, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Prof Abel Idowu Olayinka said that Akeredolu of the APC scored 23,571 votes in Odigbo council area while Jegede of the PDP polled 9,485 and Ajayi of the ZLP 6,540 votes.
