Citizens of Ondo state have exercised their franchise by going to the polling units to vote for the next governor.
The battle of who emerges governor of the State is between incumbent Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC); candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Eyitayo Jegede and Agboola Ajayi, candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
Currently, results from the polling units are trickling in.
APC 114914 votes, PDP 71038 votes and ZLP 20749 votes.
