Organ Harvesting: UK Court grants bail to Beatrice Ekweremadu

A court in London has granted bail to Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of embattled former deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu who were remanded in the United Kingdom over alleged human trafficking and organ harvesting.

Recall that the couple were arrested on Thursday, June 23 and remanded in a prison in the UK over allegations of plotting to harvest the organ of one Ukpo Nwamini David (21), for their ailing daughter Sonia Ekweremadu.

The court granted Beatrice bail on an undisclosed fairly stringent condition but denied bail to senator Ike Ekweremadu.

The decision by the court was not appealed by the prosecutors, however the case has been adjourned till August 4th.
