The Niger Bridgehead in Onitsha, Anambra state was the venue of an SUV going up in flames. This accident was reported to have happened around four pm yesterday.
Confirming the accident, Andrew Kumpanyi, Sector Commander, Anambra Federal Road Safety Corps, said the vehicle, which was on its way to Asaba, had suddenly developed electrical fault and efforts were made to reach the State Fire Service.
The detail of the occupants and their condition has not been verified.
