Police parades 10 suspected criminals in C’River

The Cross River State Police Command has parades 10 suspected Criminals.
The suspected Criminals were paraded by the new State Police Commissioner, Sikiru Akande at the Command Headquarters in Calabar.
The suspected Criminals include Omini Ibiang Eteng, Prince Okon Etim aka Romance, okokon Etim, Clement Okon, Henshaw Asuquo, Lawrence Ekpenyong and Ajah Chinonso.
CP Akande said the suspects were arrested in recent days and a number of items were recovered from them.
These he said include “two locally made pistols, one English locally made pistols with six rounds of 9mm ammunitions, one (4) live cartridge, one handset, ATM card, scissors condom and substance suspected to be cocaine”.
He added that “the command is addressing the current and emerging internal threats notably intra/inter communal crisis, pockets of kidnapping, cult rivalry, arm robbery, all forms of domestic violence and other social vices”.
He stressed that as the new police commissioner “he is in town to strictly ensure security of lives and properties  and as such the command is going to wage relentless and serious onslaught on criminals across the state”.
CP Sikiru Akande is the 41st Police Commissioner in Cross River State and succeeds CP Abdulkadir Jimoh who died late last year.
