All is now set for the long-awaited All Progressives Congress, APC, a special convention for the presidential primary held at the Eagles Square in Abuja.
Also, accreditation of delegates has since commenced at the popular International Conference Centre, ICC where committees that are in charge of different groups are meeting for proper accreditation.
The security at the venue of the primary, Eagles Square is watertight. There are stern-looking mobile policemen positioned at the strategic entrance and exit of the roads leading to and away from the Business District Centre.

No doubt, there is a massive gridlock on the roads as workers are either trekking or sweating it out trying to get to their various offices.
Some passersby have suggested that the FCT Minister should have declared today a public holiday so as to enable delegates and movement free of any form of encumbrance.

The delegates are 3 each from the local government councils multiple by 774 LGAs including 6 FCT.
So far, a total of 2,322 delegates are expected to vote to elect the presidential candidate of the party in this primary election.
