Provide evidence that I had an affair with your wife, Baba Tee tells Ijoba Lande

Yoruba Nollywood actor, Babatunde Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee has challenged comedian, Ganiu Morufu, aka Ijoba Land to prove that he had an affair with his estranged wife, Dara.

Lande had earlier claimed that Dara left him after he discovered her alleged infidelity, stating that at least 21 men in the entertainment industry were involved with her, including Baba Tee.

Reacting to the accusation, Baba Tee said he had never met or spoken to Lande’s wife before mid-2024.

Recounting how he met Dara, Baba Tee said Mary Gold, Lande’s manager introduced her to him for an MC job.

He said, “I have never met or spoken to Lande’s wife in my life. I didn’t even know what she looked like until mid-2024 when Mary Gold called me regarding an MC job because I’m also a stand-up comedian.

“Mary Gold said she was in my estate and wanted to see me about the launch of her movie. But she barged in with a total stranger, and I questioned why she brought someone I didn’t know to my house. She then told me that the girl was a content creator and an up-and-coming artiste and that her name is Dara that was how she introduced her to me.

“I overheard them talking in my apartment, and Mary Gold was saying, ‘It seems Baba Tee is already aware.’

“I had to barge in and ask, ‘What does Baba Tee know?’ It took a while before she confessed that the lady was Lande’s wife. And I asked, ‘Why didn’t you introduce her as Lande’s wife?’

“The next thing I heard was Lande calling me out on Instagram, hurling insults at me. I was shocked because I have only seen Lande once in my life.

“Lande, I am putting this to you—present evidence for the allegations you have made against me. Show proof to the world that I slept with your wife.”

Also, Dara, during an interview with socialite, Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday said she only sat on Baba Tee during a “Truth and Dare” game initiated by Mary Gold.

Detailing how the incident unfolded, she said, “The first time I met Baba Tee was in July last year when Marygold told me we should go to his house because she wanted to invite him to the launching of her movie. When we got there, Baba Tee didn’t know I was Lande’s wife, we greeted and Marygold said she wanted to drink alcohol.

“There was no alcohol in the house, so Marygold and Baba Tee’s driver went to buy it while I sat down in the living room. Baba Tee and I didn’t talk till they returned. When Marygold entered the house, she said we should start a ‘Truth or Dare’ game. I didn’t want to, but she encouraged me, so I told Baba Tee that I was Lande’s wife, and we started the game. As the game was going on, Marygold stripped herself naked and gave Baba Tee a BJ. By then, I had already drunk 10 shots of alcohol while Marygold and Baba Tee were smoking ‘Igbo’ (marijuana). Marygold then dared Baba Tee to give me a doggy style, so Baba Tee went to get a condom.

“When he returned, I told him I would not allow doggy, but I would sit on him. We then told Marygold to turn to the wall so she wouldn’t watch us. I only sat on his lap; we didn’t do anything.”
