Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom has been placed under medical supervision at Balmoral following health concerns from her doctors.

The queen’s health condition was made known in a statement from the Buckingham Palace.

The statement reads “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.

“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

Also confirming the Queen’s fragile health condition, the newly elected Prime Minister of the UK, Liz Truss in a tweet on Thursday said” The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime.

“My thoughts – and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time”.
