Four persons were on Sunday night reportedly died in an accident that happened on the Benin-Sapele road.
It was gathered that the four persons died on the spot while one other who sustained injury was rushed to the hospital.
ThisNigeria, gathered that the accident happened at Uholor on the Benin-Warri bypass.
Mr. Henry Benamaisia, the Edo state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps who confirmed the accident said a Mercedes Benz and a Toyota Corrolla on top speed had head-on- collision.
Benamaisia attributed the accident to overspeeding on the part of the drivers.

He said the vehicles burst into flame due to the impact of the accident on the vehicles.
The Sector Commander, however, advised motorists to always maintain minimal speed so as to reduce the impact in case of an accident and be able to maneuver to safety.
