Two trucks, car involved in crash on Lagos road

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has confirmed a road accident involving two articulated trucks and a private vehicle along the Gbagada Expressway in Lagos.
The crash occurred on Monday at the TREM section of the expressway inward Gbagada, prompting the immediate deployment of emergency response teams to the scene.
In a traffic advisory issued via its official X account, LASTMA said a tow truck had been dispatched to remove the affected vehicles while recovery operations were ongoing.
According to the agency, its Rescue and Recovery Unit was also mobilised to facilitate the evacuation of the damaged vehicles and ensure effective traffic control around the accident scene.
LASTMA urged motorists approaching the area to exercise patience, obey traffic officials and expect delays as clearance efforts continue.
The agency said it remains committed to restoring normal traffic flow as quickly as possible while ensuring the safety of road users.
