Rumour of dead #EndSARS protesters in Edo denied

None of the several #EndSARS protesters who were rushed to the hospital with gun shot or machete cuts on Friday, have died, rather they are responding positively to treatment.
Coordinator General of the Edo state civil society organizations, Mr Curtis Ogbebor who disclosed this also said that many victims have been discharged since the ugly incident on Friday.
He said, ” Ikponmwonsa who sustained bullet wounds and Uche who was stabbed at the back are responding to treatment”.
“…Disregard rumours that one of the victims rushed to hospital later gave up. The truth is that only one person was shot dead during the attack, all other victims that sustained injuries are alive”.
Mr Ogbebor who also displayed photographs he took when he visited Ikpenmwosa and Uche at the hospital wards on Saturday, said he was hopeful the duo will be discharged soon enough to rejoin the protests #
