
The former spokesperson to the Ex-President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has said that the former Senate President of the 8th National Assembly, Dr. Bukola Abubakar Saraki should be made the national Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Okpe said that Saraki is ‘perhaps the very best person to occupy PDP exalted position and that Saraki’s chairmanship will most certainly drive the upcoming politically well-informed youths into PDP.
Recall that last week the PDP Zoning Committee zoned the national chairmanship slot to the north ahead of the party’s October 30 and 31 national convention.

The Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi-led PDP Zoning Committee had, on Thursday, recommended a zoning formula for the sharing of the 21 National Working Committee positions between the North and the South.
As a fallout to the development, the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the PDP will on Thursday meet to ratify the decision of the party’s Zoning Committee.
Okupe on Monday on his Facebook page said that Dr. Saraki has demonstrated uncommon leadership capabilities as a former governor and President of the Senate.
He also said that the youths of Nigeria have a special palpable affinity for Saraki who he called an amiable and distinguished and very cerebral politician.

With the zoning of the chairmanship of the party to the North, fmr Senate President, Dr Bukola Abubakar Saraki is perhaps the very best person to occupy this exalted position.
