Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has berated some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP Rivers chapter) for openly declaring support for Governor Siminalayi Fubara for selfish reasons.
ThisNigeria reports that some notable PDP leaders in Rivers State, including Abiye Sekibo, Uche Secondus, Celestine Omehia, and Austin Opara had thrown their weight behind Governor Fubara.
The leaders also urged President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the political crisis in Rivers and advise the FCT Minister.
Reacting to the call on Tuesday during a chat with newsmen, Wike described the PDP leaders as irrelevant, adding that he had kicked them out of the party.
