Sanwo-Olu has turned Lagos in the right direction, Tinubu tells youths

The former governor of Lagos State and the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu has said that the government of Babajide Sanwo-Olu will help Lagosians achieve  their aspirations but they must help the state, by ensuring peace in the state and country.

This came as he shower encomium on the government of Sanwo-Olu saying that ever since he became the captain of the ship of Lagos state he had turned it in the right

The APC leaders spoke at the official inauguration of Agege Pen Cinema Bridge on Friday by Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He asked the youths not to copy vagabonds and thugs

Tinubu said: ”Don’t copy vagabonds and those who are into thuggery. There is no development if there is no peace.

”We must encourage peace. The government will ensure that you get the right education. Education is an investment in your future,”

”Destruction and disruption will not help you to reach the destination you desire to reach. We will support your aspirations but help the state, ensure peace in our state and country.”

Nigerians react as EFCC goes after Tinubu

Tinubu went on to say that sometime in 2017 2018 the ship of the state seems to have headed in a very wrong direction. ”History had it we come together the election came we choose  democratically the government of the people by the people and for our people

”They say who is Babajide Sanwo-Olu we said there are things you will find. They say he seems to know better then…  he will work.

”Ever since he became the captain of the ship of our state he had turned it in the right of direction of progress, development and good leadership of government

He also said: “This is a commendable achievement by Sanwo-Olu, who has further brought Lagos on the path of progress, given the economic resuscitation this infrastructure will bring on this axis and entire Lagos. May you continue to think and perform to demonstrate excellent results as you have done today.”
