Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu, the immediate past Edo State Deputy Governor has been described as a quintessential gentleman with unarguably one of the very rare politicians that are Humility personified.
In their various goodwill messages at the 64th birthday of the former Edo State, two under Comrade Adams Oshiomhole are the All Progressives Congress Governorship in the 2019 Governorship Election in the State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, former Minority Whip in the House of Representatives, Dr. Samso Osagie, PDP legislators from Orhionmwon local government and many others.
In his message, Dr. Osagie said, “I celebrate with a man who is unarguably one of the very rare political leaders that is Humility personified. A careful study of his personality will teach any student the nuances of patience, perseverance, meekness, sacrifice, and self-control.
“At 64, he has remained a rallying point for many who understand the genuineness of his intentions and openness of his heart.
On his part, Engr. Dennis Eribo said, “Today, a great man celebrated his birthday. The presence of many dignitaries lightened up the day as Rt. Hon. Dr. Odubu who was in a happy mood was seen exchanging pleasantries and chatting with invited guests who had come to felicitate with the Odubu’s.
Among those present was the APC Governorship Candidate in the last Edo State Governorship election Pastor (Barr.) Osagie Ize-Iyamu, members representing Orhionmwon East and South Constituency in Edo State House of Assembly.
APC forum calls for caution over defectors
Flanked by his amiable wife, Dcns (Mrs.) Endurance Odubu, Dr. Odubu, and his family had a Thanksgiving service to God with a Family Mass.
The presence of Politicians of the two major political parties led credence to the usual discussions that Dr. Odubu is truly a man loved by all despite the different political divides.
