Senator Clement Annie Okonkwo, representing Anambra Central Senatorial Zone in the Senate, is dead.
According to reports, Okonkwo passed away after a long battle with a terminal Illness.
It was gathered that the Senator was recoverimg after receiving treatment at a hospital in the United States.

However, he suffered a relapse and died on Wednesday, June 7.
The deceased was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2007 to represent the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.
He had celebrated his 63rd birthday on May 23, 2023.
