Zazu crooner, Habeeb Okikiola, professionally known as Portable, has reacted to the death of fellow artiste, Mohbad.
ThisNigeria reported that Mohbad died controversially on Tuesday and was buried on Wednesday.
Reacting, Portable, in a video sighted by ThisNigeria, said “Open your ears and listen. Heaven is hot. Nobody will be left out. A lion doesn’t fear to walk alone. Open your mouth and talk. Fight for yourself.
“There is power in the tongue as God himself put power in our words. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Fight for yourself. Industry has a caucus. God punished them all. Please, God, don’t let me die before they celebrate my life.”
Mobhad, a former signee of Naira Marley, fell out with the ‘Soapy’ crooner in 2022.
Before his death, he had claimed that his life was under threat by his former boss and one Sam Larry.
He was aged 27.
