The member representing Isa-Sabon Birni federal constituency of Sokoto State, Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga is dead.
According to reports, Danbuga had taken ill on Tuesday and was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
However, the lawmaker died at midnight on Wednesday.

He was a first-time member of the House of Representatives elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Danbuga is survived by two wives, children and grandchildren.
