Hoodlums suspected to be political thugs, on Thursday evening, attacked Oranmiyan House, the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola’s campaign office located in Osogbo, Osun State capital.

The thugs, according to eyewitnesses, were about five in number.

They were said to have carried guns and allegedly shot directly into the four-story building.

The incident, according to eyewitnesses, happened around 5:20 pm on Thursday.

One of the local security operatives at the campaign house told our reporter that the hoodlums came with a Sienna vehicle.

He said they shot rapidly and also attempted to set the building on fire,but were resisted by the security operatives.

However, Police have not reacted to the incident as at press time.

There had been a lingering face-off between the camps of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his predecessor, Rauf Aregbesola within the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the state over political supremacy.
