Governors of the six Southwestern states in Nigeria are presently holding a meeting in Lagos State.
The development was made known by Olawale Ajetunmobi, a media aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, via his X account on Tuesday.
The details of the meeting has not been made public as at the time of filing this report.

In the videos posted by the media aide, the governor and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, were seen welcoming the other governors of the Yoruba-speaking states.
One of the videos was captioned, “Happening Now!!! Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu (@jidesanwoolu) receiving colleagues Governors from Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti for the meeting of Southwest Governors’ Forum holding today at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja.”
