Nigerians don’t worship God, they service religious leaders – Deji Adeyanju

Human rights activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has claimed that Nigerians don’t truly worship God, instead, they worship their religious leaders.
The outspoken lawyer decried the rate of corruption in the country perceived to be very religious.
Adeyanju maintained that politicians who rigged their way into power go to religious houses to thank God for their dubious acts.
“If Nigerians truly worship God the way they worship their pastors and Imams, this country would be great. Ours is a nation where people don’t fear God but they fear pastoso-calledams. A so called religious nation where corruption, cheating and scam is a way of life. People go to praise God in a religious centre after rigging an election and the religious leader will celebrate them,” Adeyanju said in a Facebook post he made on Tuesday.
