A clip showing residents of the Dagbalodo community in Kwara State, digging holes in sand to extract dirty water for drinking, cooking, has gone viral.
In the video, the women could be seen scooping dirty water out of the holes in little quantities into bigger bowls.
According to the interpreter who filmed the clip, the women would then wait for the water to accumulate in the sand before they begin to scoop again.
Dagbalodo is located in the Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara.
