There was tension in the FESTAC area of Lagos State on Monday afternoon as some angry customers of MTN telecommunications destroyed the barricades to gain access to the office.
THISNIGERIA reported earlier that some angry stormed telecommunication stores across the country after telcos began barring following lines not linked with a National Identification Number (NIN).
Several videos and pictures making rounds on social media showed aggrieved customers queuing at the offices of the telecommunications giant to demand the unblocking of their mobile lines.
In a video seen online, some aggrieved customers have started vandalising the telco office in FESTAC.
These customers were seen pulling down the fence of the facility.
