BBNaija star Alex Asogwa popularly known as Unusual Alex has slammed Christians who pray in the name of their pastors.
The entertainer described people who pray using the phrase, “The God of my pastor” as lost souls.
She also criticised the use of pastors’ pictures as wallpaper on their devices, seeing it as a sign of excessive devotion, stating that she’s unafraid to express her reservations about religious fanatism.
She believed many people are brainwashed and that she can’t reason on the same level with those who exhibit such extreme behavior.
“Once I hear you say ‘The God of my pastor’, I know you are a lost cause and we can’t reason the same.
“Those ones that go extra miles to make their pastor their wallpaper. The day I’m ready for conversations about religion, I know a lot of people will fight me but again, I know my mouth.
“I’ll say my own and hell can be let loose for all I care. A lot of people are brainwashed. Any way, have a good day my people,” she wrote on Instagram.
