About nine members of a family have been feared killed by unknown gunmen in the Maikatako community of Bokkos local government council of Plateau state .
Our correspondent gathered that the gunmen stormed the community late Tuesday night and started shooting sporadically.
Residents who spoke to our correspondent said the incident happened around 9 30 pm on Tuesday.

The spokesman of the state Police Command in Plateau, Mr Alfred Alabo who spoke to our correspondent said the Police are currently going after the assailants.
He said our men are on top of the situation, but the details of the attack are still sketchy.
The police spokesman in Plateau further promised to give full details of the sad incident to our correspondent soon.
