A former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has lost at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship primaries in the state.
Sani made this known via Twitter on Thursday morning.
He lost to Honourable Isah Ashiru by securing only two votes in the exercise.
He tweeted: “The Kaduna PDP Governorship primaries has been concluded.I lost and Honourable Isah Ashiru won.I wish to congratulate him.
“Two Delegates voted for me without giving them a dime;unfortunately,I don’t know who they are,so that I can appreciate these clean votes.We look forward.”

Giving a follow-up to the initial tweet, Sani said that he had received hundreds of calls from delegates claiming to be the ones who gave him the two votes at the primaries.
“Two delegates voted for me without paying them kobo;But I have received over 300 calls from Different Delegates claiming that they are the two that voted for me and want to come and see me…See me se wahala abeg,” he tweeted.
