There is tension in the ancient town of Ikare Akoko in Ondo state over the gruesome killings of two night guards.
some night guards are contemplating of dropping the job due to the fears of the unknown.
The identity of the the victims have been disclosed.
A popular Iyame Ikare indigene simply called Salami Giwa alias Baba Iya Rainbow and the other one was simply called Ologba.
Iyame residence of Giwa Salami wore mournful look.
The victim was said to be over 60years and very religious as a Muslim.
A neighbor at Mimiko market, Ganiyu Abudu said two of them were working there but he was the only one that came on the faithful day.
The other victim operated in another location within the vicinity.
He said Giwa always banged drum hour per hour in the night to show how committed he was at work.
Meanwhile their corpses have been deposited at Ikare Akoko Specialist Hospital Mortuary while police investigation is on.
