President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike, on his birthday, describing him as an audacious and exceptional performer in his cabinet.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President celebrated Wike on his birthday, December 13, thanking God for a life marked by purpose, service, and courage.
President Tinubu praised the former Rivers State governor for his resilience, can-do attitude, and commitment to excellence, noting that these qualities have continued to reflect in his stewardship of the FCT.
The President highlighted the ongoing transformation of Abuja through infrastructure expansion under Wike’s leadership, particularly commending his recent intervention that resolved a 14-year stalemate in the construction of the Apo–Karshi road.
According to Tinubu, Wike has emerged as one of the shining stars in the Federal Executive Council, delivering infrastructure development in the nation’s capital at an unprecedented scale and justifying his reputation as “Mr Project.”
He also acknowledged Wike’s role as one of the champions of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, despite belonging to a different political party.
President Tinubu thanked the Minister for his consistent delivery of results and wished him a happy birthday, good health, and renewed strength to continue his work in the FCT.
