The former minister of aviation and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has said that is ‘uncharitable and absurd’ to call the governor of Bauchi state Malam Bala Mohammed a terrorist.
Recall that the Governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom had said on Monday said that Bala Mohammed was part of the Fulani terrorist terrorizing Nigeria.
But Fani-Kayode in a tweet on his social media handle (Twitter) said that he does not share the views of governor Ortom that Governor Bala is a Fulani terrorist.
He said that he had known governor Bala Mohammed for many years though they have disagreed on many issues but for someone to call him a terrorist is absurd.
“We must choose our battles wisely & know who our real enemies are. I have disagreed with my friend & brother Gov. Bala Mohammed on several occassions over the years & I do not share his views on a number of issues but to describe him as a terrorist is uncharitable & absurd. Fani-Kayode said.
He also counseled Governor Ortom to ”learn to separate the wheat from the chaff and stop demonising people simply because they do not share our views.”

”..in carrying guns, throwing bombs and killing people. It would serve our interest better if we learnt to separate the wheat from the chaff and stop demonising people simply because they do not share our views. ‘ Fani-Kayode said.
