An unidentified tricycle operator has been beaten to death by a colleague in the Oke-Aro Community in the Akure south local government area of Ondo state.
It was learnt that the two men engaged in fierce fisticuffs as one of the blows hit the deceased in a delicate spot that made him collapse.
According to the report, the tricycle rider was rushed to a nearby hospital on Saturday where he later gave up the ghost in the early hours of Sunday.
The circumstances surrounding his death were quite sketchy as the name of the hospital where he was taken was not disclosed.

Confirming the incident, the Ondo state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Funmilayo Odunlana disclosed that the two tricycle riders engaged in a hot argument which led to the death of the other.
“The man was rushed by people around the vicinity of the fight.
“The victim collapsed as a result of the fight on Saturday and was confirmed dead early this morning at the hospital”
The case she said was reported at the ‘B’ Division area Headquarters in Akure.
