The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has apologised to workers for locking them out over lateness.
ThisNigeria reported that on Thursday, workers at the ministry were not allowed into the premises for coming late.
This, however, did not go well with the workers who protested, locked the minister in and also called for his sack.

According to most of them, they got to work late cos of the economic hardship.
However, in a video sighted by ThisNigeria, the minister was seen apologising for his actions.
He said his actions were misunderstood and he didn’t intend to shut the workers out.
“I can’t do without you just as you can’t do without me,” he said.
