A gas explosion has occurred in the Ladipo area of Mushin Local Government, Lagos.
According to reports, the incident occurred at about 8 am on Tuesday.
It was gathered that at least five persons including a 10-year-old boy have died from the explosion.

A spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye said that the fire had been put out.
Farinloye stated further that the agency was working to recover more bodies from the scene of the explosion.
