Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido has narrated the aftermath of his support for the #EndSARS campaign in 2020.
The Fall crooner, while speaking on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah, revealed that he got into a lot of trouble for lending his voice to the campaign for the end of police brutality, extra-judicial killings in the country.
Davido stated further that his hit song, Fem, which was used as an anthem during the campaign, got him into a lot of trouble that he had to leave Nigeria .
“I did not record the song thinking the protest was going to happen. I got into a lot of trouble reposting everything that had to do wit the campaign,” he said.
