A policeman simply identified as Olu has allegedly stabbed a tricycle operator, Ibrahim a.k.a “Eleyele” to death in the Meiran area of Lagos State.
Eyewitnesses told ThisNigeria that the incident occurred on Thursday at Ile Iwe bus stop, along Command road, Abule Egba.
It was learnt that the policeman stabbed Ibrahim over his refusal to pay a bribe of N100.
Tensions are high as the tricycle operators are reportedly planning to retaliate by attacking the Meiran Police Station.
