Technical Director of Vision 2020 International Tennis Academy, Thompson Ewetuga has declared that Nigerian Tennis players would rule the world if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu gives moral and financial supports to their tennis development program starting very soon at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Ewetuga is of the view that talented Under 12 ,14 and 16 Tennis players discovered would be guided by seasoned coaches to stardom once President Tinubu ok the vision 2020 International Tennis Academy proposal forwarded to him through Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“Yes, President Tinubu is a Tennis lover and also noted for youth empowerment. As father of the youths we proposed to him to ensure that thousands of youths are encouraged to play Tennis. Our special training programs involving players from Lagos , Ondo , Delta and Edo states in Lagos is a great opportunity to take youths out of the streets,” began Ewetuga who applauded Vision 2020 International Tennis Academy coaches and Nigeria Tennis Federation officials that have ensured great progress within a short period
Ewetuga who earlier organized Tennis clinics in Lagos and Banjul,Gambia poured encomiums on Gede Mahendra ,Eka Pradnyana and other stakeholders who have been supportive to Vision 2020 International Tennis Academy in the past.
