
6 players are expected later

The senior national team- the Super Eagles will have their first training session this evening under the watchful eyes of the German tactician Gehnot Rohr in preparatory for their World Cup qualifiers against the Lone Stars and Cape Verde.
As at the last count on Monday night, 24 out of the 30 players invited have arrived at the Eko Hotel camp base ahead of Tuesday’s planned training session at 5pm at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
According to Super Eagles camp source: this training is crucial as it will afford the players the opportunity to have a feel of the turf and map out strategies ahead of Friday’s match against Lone Stars.
However, other players are still being expected to join their colleagues today before their first training session this evening.

The players in camp as of Monday night are Leone Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Tyronne Ebueehi, Ola Aina, Maduka Okoye, Terem MOffi, Jamilu Collins, Valentine Ozornwafor, Innocent Bonke, Moses Simon, Sheu Abdullahi, Ahmed Musa, Samuel Kalu, Daniel Akpeyi, Adekunle Adeleye, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Oghenekaro Etebor, Francis Uzoho, Henry Onyekuru, Chidera Ejuke, Kingsley Michael, Wilfred Ndidi and Kenneth Omeruo.
