Nigerian champions, Bayelsa Queens have been drawn in Group B of WAFU Zone B qualifiers for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) women’s club football championship.
Bayelsea Queens will face Union Sportive des Forces Armees of Burkina Faso, Athleta FC of Togo and Ghana champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies to determine the winner of group that will progress into the knockout stage.
The draw ceremony supervised by CAF officials, took place in Rabat, Morocco yesterday.
Drawn in Group A are Espor FC from Benin, AS Police of Niger and AS D’Abijdan of Cote d’Ivoire.
The Winner and Runner up in the WAFU-B qualifiers will represent the Zone in the main competition scheduled for Morocco later in the year.
