The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ahmed Idris Wase has congratulated the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, as he clocks 60 years.

In a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Umar Muhammad Puma, Wase described Emefeile as an icon who has contributed immensely to the development of the economy and the country at large.

The Deputy Speaker praised the apex bank governor for reforming and transforming the banking and agricultural sectors, which he said has grossly contributed to the growth of the economy.
