
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday received new members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and former Speaker of the House of Representatives , Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, at the State House.
The new members were accompanied by chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State; Jigawa Governor, Mohammed Badaru and Kebbi Governor Atiku Bagudu.
Recall that Bankole had recently dump his party, Action Democratic Party (ADP) for All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Ogun, Daniel, in February after quitting Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) registered as a member of All Progressives Congress (APC) at ward 12, Ishote Unit in Sagamu.

Daniel registered alongside his wife, Olufunke.
During the registration Daniel said that his joining APC was well considered and thought out, adding that leaders needed to come together and speak with one voice to tackle security challenges facing the country.
