We will bring Wabba to justice for economic sabotage, says El-Rufai

The Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai has vowed to bring the Nigeria Labour Congress President Comrade Ayuba Wabba to justice.

El-Rufai reacting to the protest and the five-day warning strike which had entered the second day by the NLC lead by Wabba, said that they are looking for him and that he should report himself to the nearest police.

He accused the NLC and Wabba of attacking facilities and engaging in economic sabotage in the state.

“We are looking for him, he should report himself to the nearest police station or report to us, he will be prosecuted for economic sabotage,”

“Yes you saw my Twitter handle post. They have attacked facilities and engaged in economic sabotage. That is an offence under the miscellaneous offenses act. And we will bring him to justice.

El-Rufa also said that there is no ground for compromise with the NLC over the ongoing warning strike
According to him: “the state government will not change its position.”
Meanwhile, hours after the governor declared the NLC president wanted, Wabba dared him to come and arrest him.
Wabba said in an interview with journalists while leading thousands of workers in protest on the streets of Kaduna metropolis.
‘We are here and waiting for them to arrest me,” he declared.
