A Facebook user, Pastor Glory Igho has kicked against the use of Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access Twitter after its suspension by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
According to Igho in a post via Facebook, using VPN to access Twitter after the government banned it, is a sin against God.
Most Nigerians had downloaded VPNs in order to use Twitter following its ban by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
However, the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami ordered the immediate prosecution of any Nigeria caught using the microblogging platform.

Igho’s post read: “As a Christian, if you use VPN to access your Twitter account after the government banned it, just know you have sinned against God.
“Romans 13:1-2 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished.”
